With an emphasis on beauty and style, each issue of Harper's Bazaar Magazine discusses the latest in clothing fashions and includes articles on makeup, hairstyles, and skin care. You'll also read special features on health, travel, money, entertainment, and personalities in the news.

Harper’s Bazaar is an American women's fashion magazine, first published in 1867. Harper’s Bazaar is published by Hearst and, as a magazine, considers itself to be the style resource for "women who are the first to buy the best, from casual to couture.  Aimed at members of the upper-middle and upper classes, Bazaar assembles photographers, artists, designers and writers to deliver a "sophisticated" perspective into the world of fashion, beauty and popular culture on a monthly basis.

Since its debut in 1867 as America’s first fashion magazine, the pages of Harper’s Bazaar, first called Harper’s Bazar, have been home to talent, such as the founding editor, author and translator Mary Louise Booth, as well as: Fashion editors, including Carmel Snow, Carrie Donovan, Diana Vreeland, Liz Tilberis, Alexey Brodovich, Brana Wolf    Photography from Louise Dahl-Wolfe, Man Ray, Diane Arbus, Richard Avedon, Robert Frank, Inez van Lamsweerde, Craig McDean and Patrick Demarchelier,  Illustrations by Erté (Romain de Tirtoff) and Andy Warhol.  Writers Alice Meynell, Daisy Fellowes, Gloria Guinness, and Eleanor Hoyt Brainerd.

They showcased fashion from Germany and Paris in a newspaper-design format. It was not until 1901 that Harper’s moved to a monthly issued magazine which it maintains today. Now Harper’s Bazaar is owned and operated by the Hearst Corporation in the U.S. and The National Magazine Company in the U.K. Hearst purchased the magazine in 1913.  Harper & Brothers founded the magazine.

Despite dividing opinion amongst some religious and conservative commentators, 
'Born This Way'   is the second studio album by American recording artist Lady Gaga, which was released on May 23, 2011, by Interscope Records. Born This Way was well received by music critics; points of acclaim went to the varying musical styles in the album and Gaga's vocals. However, others felt Gaga was trying too hard to please everyone through the album's self-empowerment message. Several publications included the album in their year-end critic lists. Born This Way when on to receive three Grammy Award nominations, including Gaga's third consecutive nomination for Album of the Year.

Born This Way debuted in the top five spots of every major market, including the Billboard 200. In the United States, Born This Way sold 1.108 million copies in its first week – the largest first week album sales in five years. "Born This Way" became the 1000th song to reach the number one spot of Billboard Hot 100 since the inauguration of the chart in 1958.
