About Mother Jones Magazine

                                  Abbreviated MoJo, named after Mary Harris Jones

  She was an advocate for social justice and human rights, by her actions critics had declared MOTHER JONES; " The Most Dangerous Women in America", and among other sayings. Mother Jones Magazine is an excellent source for news, commentary, politics and the arts. Mother Jones is best known for its investigative reporting on corporate and governmental activities. Topics range from environmental and consumer protection to contemporary and historical profiles. 
                                   

 Mother Jones has been nominated for 23 National Magazine Awards and has won six times, and multiple Awards for General Excellence. In addition, MoJo also won the Online News Association Award for Online Topical Reporting in 2010 and the Utne Reader Independent Press Award for General Excellence in 2011. Mother Jones one-hour Radio show was launched but ended its production in 2007, therefore we present to you; What Is Mother Jones?
